Some of the best way to learn

physical things is to be taught

how to do it, and be able to

video what you are doing and

be able to watch it so you know

what to do to fix the problem,

Coaches Eye is the app that

allows coaches to do exactly

that. With Coaches Eye there

are divided into three different

groups. One is called Technical

Analysis you are able to

have three different cate-

gories known as Simple,

Intermediate andDifficult Within the

Simple you are able to

The second is called FaultFinding This is more for the

coaches to watch the athletesvideos and see what is wrongwith their movements and thenidentify them, as well as come

up with some drills that willhelp them fix this problem. Thefinal category is the Library

When an athlete is done withtheir drills and feel that they

have done what is needed to fixthe problem then they are able

to go back to that particularvideo and have the new videoside by side as well to deter-mine if the drill worked for that

particular athlete or not.Coaches Eye is trying to in-troduce to coaches online mul-

timedia learning.

Coaches Eye can be for multi-ple different things. This is

including all different types of

sports, as well as in school. Forexample science teacherscould use to do science experi-

ments and then put them sideby side to analyze them. Alsoyou could use them for class

speeches to see how you didfor each particular speech youdid. Or even see how your firstone was and then compare that

to your last speech and to see

the progress you made or d idnot make. Same can be done

with debates. Compare how

each side of the debate did, aswell as how the debated com-pared to other debates. This

app is called Coaches Eye butit can be used for anything andeverything you could imagine i t

to be done with.

During the game after oneinning you are able to go to the

stats and immediately know

how your pitcher or anyoneelse did defensively or evenoffensively to know how they

did and compare the statsinning by inning. This is greattool for the coaches to be able

to tell if they got rocked thisinning or were throwing tomany balls you can tell immedi-ately and then be able to decide

if you want to keep them in the

game or decide to take

them out.

This might seem kind of oddand random. But I have found

personally that this app is veryhelpful technology that can beused while coaching, especiallysince softball is an outside

sport. This app can be usedwhile on a trip to know what theweather will be like and around

what time it will be good or

Radar Guns can be a huge advantage to have

while playing softball. If you want your pitch-

ers to increase speed, this is a great tool to

use to know what their speed is and if theyare increasing, decreasing or staying the

same. You can also tell what their averagespeed is as well. I personally have not usedthis app but I can see how it could be helpful.

There are different coaching styles out thereand personally I do not care about their

speed, it is more about if they are hitting

their spots or not. But this is a great tool andI would use it if I cared about the speed of my

pitchers.
