Meet Our New Children’s
Intern!
Hey Teays Valley Church of God! My name is Austin Oehlhof. You may recognize me form Jingle Jam as Pastor Jodi’s goofy sidekick. I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to be introduced then in art imitating life! That’s right! Starting this January, I will be joining the Teays Valley Church of God Revved Up Kid’s Ministry team as their spring Intern. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say thank you for such
an amazing opportunity to not only grow in my passion but in my faith journey as well! I am representing Columbus, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!) and am currently attending Mid-America Christian University, majoring in Christian Ministries. I have recently come off the Women of Faith Tour working in PR and sales. During my time as the Revved Up Intern, I want to dive in and see how the day-to-day inner workings and preparation help to provide the platform for ministry growth. I believe in creating a solid environment for children’s ministry that will not only be loads of fun, but also loads of faith transformations as well. After my time at Teays Valley I am hoping to get involved in World Vision, an organization that provides humanitarian aid and development for children in less fortunate countries. I can’t wait to get Revved Up! See you in January!
We Need Your Help!
Revved Up Kid’s Ministry is revving up for our next adventure. To make this
experience as awesome as possible we are asking for some donations or to
borrow some items that we may use to decorate the basement. We are in need
of the following items:
Fake Plants, Baskets, Fabric, Plastic Fruit and Vegetables, Clay Pots, Burlap,
Pillows & Sheets. If you are just loaning us the item, be sure to MARK IT with
your name on it so we get them back to you, otherwise please mark it as a
donation.
We also are looking for old pillow cases to be used to make costumes for the
kids. These will be cut so they would not be able to be returned to you.
Donations can be brought to the basement. See Pastor Jodi for details. Thank
you!
