Case Summary :
In this case, Conner, Alexis, Evan, Judy & Derek had been
team members of Advert. Advert is a medium sized marketing
firm , picked the five employees for a special project.
Management gave this team a project of commercial
promoting the lunch of 60 inch plasma flat screen television
and also allowed them much autonomy the freedom to see the
project through from start to finish.
Conner who was used to leading others. Firstly, he told his
idea of his team and proceeded to explain it.
Alexis disagreed his idea and Conner didn’t focus to this
Alexis’ disagree.

Other two members, Evan & Judy were agreed
Conner’s idea.
Derek was thinking different idea. But, he paused
for a moment and he felled down to think the
groupthink & group pressures. In this situation, he
didn’t share his idea and he also agreed to Conner’s
idea.
At last, this team made their film. But their clients
dislike their film concept and film advertisement.
And the team was disbanded.
One month later, Derek was at home to watch
television. He saw his own past idea and concept to
use another team to make that flat screen television
advertisement.
Derek shook his head and vowed to speak up, next
time he had decided to share his idea.

Management was given to allow the autonomy of
own ideas, hiring place, creating & maintaining
budget of the Advert team. But they didn’t use the
autonomy properly.
Conner took the leadership without any discussion.
Conner wasn’t effective leader.
As a leader Conner didn’t focus on Alexis’ opinion.
Derek had a idea but he didn’t express his idea for
group thinking and pressures.
Problem Identification :
![Page 5: Teamwork Presentation](https://reader031.fdocuments.us/reader031/viewer/2022020307/55cdf051bb61eb13538b474c/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
As a team, they must be higher used the autonomy
properly.
Every team members could discuss with each other
about the leader selecting.
Conner became effective leader if he maintained this
points :
To priority others members.
To focus other members thinking & opinion.
To justify others thinking & opinion.
To discuss with each other for any decision.
Problem Solving :
![Page 6: Teamwork Presentation](https://reader031.fdocuments.us/reader031/viewer/2022020307/55cdf051bb61eb13538b474c/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
As a leader, Conner must be focused on Alexis’
opinion.
Though, Derek had a idea but he didn’t express his
idea for the groupthink & group pressures.
Because, he was influence on deviant behavior. But
in this situation, he wouldn’t fall in the deviant
workplace behavior and not to focus on the group
thinking.

In the work environment almost everybody within the workplace is likely to be a member of one or more teams. These primary can be formal or informal teams.
Efficient team-working can transform the workplace. It can help create clear open channels of communication, improve productivity, help keep morale high and provide individuals with a sense of identity and purpose.
The teamwork structure allows for multi-agent tasks using homogeneous agents to be decomposed into flexible roles. Roles are organized into formations, and agents can fill any role in any formation.
This flexible teamwork structure builds upon our team member agent architecture, which maintains both an internal and world state, and a set of internal and external behaviors.
