I HIGHLY recommend that all coaches go to your online backoffice at Team Beachbody and click "New and Training" then “Resources” and then “Meeting Resource Center” for some great ideas and customizable tools. Also, "News and Training" then “Events” then "Webinars and Conference Calls" then the "Webinar and Conference Call Archive" tab then click on the archived national coach calls. These are AWESOME... whether you are a new coach or veteran, you WILL get something out of these calls including motivation. I usually listen to the calls while I do coaching work online. The lessons I would say are to have a spouse or significant other as admin on all your pages and groups, in case something happens to your account (suspension for example or hacked), do not accept random requests, do not put your phone number on Facebook, do not respond to emails from emails that look questionable with Facebook security in the email address, etc.

Many think the issue will be lifted or at least further investigated before shutting them down (which probably won't happen). For those unaware... this week VEEMA had an issue with the FTC. VEEMA is an MLM, like the many, many opportunities out there. Before I go further, recall we call ourselves a MLH: Multi-level helping company, per Carl himself! I have been following this closely and bottom line is there are few restrictions on merits for lawsuits and many believe the FTC is simply trying to send a message to the industry. VEEMA has a completely different comp plan than us, but they have been essentially accused of being an illegal pyramid scheme mostly related to their plan, marketing tactics and true value of their products. This is primarily tied to the way many of the distributors marketed the opportunity with outlandish claims on income

potential with limited training on how to help others with the actual products vs. simply signing many distributors and requiring they buy-in to a large package to get started (approx. $500). It also appears most of their focus and sales are aligned with distributor volume vs. mostly customer sales (ie. not having product with true value to the marketplace). A large fraction of the VEEMA reps and target market range is college kids and it appears they may have been making unrealistic promises to prospects. One of the leading, very public distributors even left the company very recently so they may have seen this coming. All of this will play out over time, and many think the issue will be resolved in court with VEEMA still being able to operate. Innocent until proven guilty, of course. Regardless, an important reminder to focus on helping people with our amazing products and be careful with any income claims or otherwise. Keep doing what you are doing. As you can see from Jeff Hill's message, Team Beachbody is uniquely positioned in this space to help others with our products that are in high demand along with creating financial opportunities for the coach network! Remember that the products were available long before the coach network was born. Any other questions let me know. More to come on VEEMA as they move through the court process.
