AsaTeamManager,yourprimaryroleistofunctionastheteamadministratorandcommunicator. Youactasaliaisonbetweenthecoach,parents,playersandtheClubonallNON-COACHINGrelatedissues.Pleasedirectanyquestionsorconcernsregardingplayingtime,positions,andonthefieldissuestothecoach.Asateammanagerandaparentvolunteeritisnotyourresponsibilitytoanswerthesequestions. BestPracticesforTeamFinance PreparingtheTeamBudget: Atthebeginningoftheseason,arrangeatimetomeetwiththecoachtodeterminewhichtournamentstheteamwillparticipateinfortheupcomingseason.Fromthat,abudgetcanbemadethatprojectsthemoniesneededfromtheteammembersfortheyear.Includethefollowinginthebudget: ● Tournaments ● ProjectedCoachTravelFees ● Anyextraleaguesnotcoveredbytheclub(Arena,Futsal,etc.) ● RefFeesforState/NationalCup,oranyadditionalleagueplay(SCNPL,CRL,etc.)● “BloodJersey”forloanplayers● GivingBackFriendliesDonations Onceabudgethasbeenestablished,advisetheteammembersofwhattheprojectedteamfeeswillbefortheseason.Youcancollectallatonceoryoucancollectinincrements(i.e.April,June,September).Allteammembersareresponsibleforpayingthefulltournamentfeesfortheseason,regardlessofiftheplayerisabletoattend.Itisuptothecoachandmanagertodetermineifaplayermayplayinatournamentiftheyaredelinquentontheirteamfees,however,allfeesmustbepaidandcurrentpriortoState/NationalCupplay.
