“I love the Fouganza brand - it's actually the Decathalon line, unsure ifthere's a Decathalon down south but there's a good equestriansection in the Belfast store - just follow signs for city airport and drivepast the airport to the next junction, it's right next to the IKEA”

“You can order these online from decathalon uk, I just looked at thesite, confused about sizes though as they give sizes in 36/US XXS,38/US XS, 40/US S etc. What would be the same as a 26 waist or 8-10 would either of you know who has them what kind of fit they are.”

Bel Air is geared towardsexperienced riders I think butas long as you are able tohandle small fences youshould be fine..Bel Air is €40 for 1 Hour &€70 for 2 hrsBelow is alsomeant to be fab for a goodride out& is €35 for 1 hour &€50 for2hours.www.glendaloughhouse.ie/glend...trian/trekking
I’ve done Bel Air before, went on one of the two hourride outs - when they sayexperienced riders I thinkthey really just mean able tocanter and jump. Thehorses there are fab andthey're so used to theirjob…

i have had dealings with them on a work basis, andwas not impressed on either occasion. but that said theyseem to have a good few clients and so must be doingsomething right, all i will say is, don't ever expect anyoneto answer a phone, and from my own experience youneed to leave about ten voicemails before any response isreceived. their organisation is quite amateurish givethem a go though, maybe it will suit what you want

Killegar is really good and they are great withkids of all ages. I have seen kids as young as 4there before. Sometimes with the younger onesthey might do half hour lesson and then half hourlittle trek up the road but a half hour total might beenough for your dd's first time. They are veryfriendly there and lots of lovely ponies andhorses for all age groups and abilities.
A user named liz28 offers advice suggesting Killegar.

Any recommendation for a stud (MunsterArea) for an 11 year old 14.2h Mare. She’s notregistered purebred Connemara but she’sdefinitely one. Anyway since she’s a goodjumper would it be madness crossing her with athoroughbred racehorse? Also I saw a Stallionadvertised local to me but he`s nearly 16hwould he have a foal too big for my mare??
A user named Raggy Days comes on to the Equestrian pages looking foradvice on breeding.

Before you consider any Stallion you have to askyourself.1) why am I breeding this mare. Is she good enough.Because if you are going to sell the foal people will wantto want it for it to pay you.If your going to keep it for 3/4years to train on and sell it still has to make enough topay you.2) What do I want to breed. Jumping Pony/ EventingPony

If I spent €4000 at Coolmore for a stud would it be acomplete waste of money? I see local thoroughbredstallions on Donedeal for a fraction of that but again theymight only breed rubbish too

You really need to do a lot of research into pedigreebefore taking the plunge and sending your mare tostud. You need to look back at her family on both sides - Howdid they perform in competition? What did they do?Were there any conformation problems or health issues? What height were they? Are there any progeny frombrothers and sisters? How are they doing? etc
Other users again weigh in with more advice into the search for a breedingpartner.
