GCSE ENGLISH CHALLENGE

Task 1: The Tour

You have set up a band and are just breaking into the big time following 500,000 hits on your Youtube video and airplay time by Dermott O’Leary, as part of his championing new bands. Your new album is soon to be released and as a result you are going on your 1st UK tour! You want to do 8 gigs on this 1st tour between May and June 2015 and it

is your decision where you play and when.

READING and COMPREHENSION a) Decide which 8 cities of the UK you wish to play in, when you will play each venue and the order in which you will tour. b) Create a promotional poster to show your fans the complete itinerary of your tour, highlighting venues and dates. c) Your manager has also asked that you present him with a report to justify your choices of where you will be playing and why.
