BECOME A MORE EFFECTIVE EDUCATOR Throughout this program, students will gain specific skills in content delivery methods for a variety of settings and audiences including: - Youth and adults - One-on-one - Classroom-based - Online - Seminars - Conferences Additionally, students will gain foundational knowledge and understanding of how to organize and effectively deliver educational programs and events, such as county fairs, after-school programs for youth, or mitigating agricultural issues in their community. More specifically, you will learn: - How to construct outlines and agendas for educational programs. - How to effectively market educational programs you are teaching. - Strategies for working with volunteers. - Techniques for developing surveys and evaluating data to measure program effectiveness. This Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Extension is a companion to the Master of Extension Education degree. All 13 credits can transfer into the program (with a grade of B or better) and can be applied toward the degree after formal admission per University transfer policies. However, successful completion of the courses or certificate does not guarantee admission to the degree program. This certificate is offered online or on campus in Fort Collins, CO
