Teaching Assistant Award
Each year, students and course instructors are able to recognizteaching assistants by nominating them for a Graduate Student Teaching Award. Twenty awards of $500 are presented annually to graduate students. Award recipients Committee based on the results of standard evaluations and written comments provided by nominees' students. TA Award recipients were honoured during a reception Amit Chakma which was held in June 2014 at Society of Graduate Students (SOGS), the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) and PSAC 610. M. Ajmal Khan, a Ph.D. candidate Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering received a Teaching Assistant Award for the year 2013-14.
