Judges will be looking for:

Technology • innovation • a cyclic approach to the project (design, modify, evaluate)• a view to the future (ie, product development) • Ownership

Science• A well thought out method and conclusion that are related to the hypothesis• Solid data gathering and analysis of this data• A view to the future (ie, opportunity for further investigations)• Ownership

Judges also like to see …- an authentic reason for a project, not just a copy of an experiment off the web. For

example, in a technology project it might be a special tool that will make gran’s life easier . In a science project it might be a curious observation of an insect that triggered a thorough investigation into its habits.
