• Is there a need / desire for a provincial website that highlights credible healthy eating and active living (HEAL) information and resources FOR TEACHERS?

• What is teacher access to internet?• What are common barriers in accessing resources

for teachers?• What resources are needed/wanted?• What is the best way to get HEAL information to

teachers?

• Alberta Education related resources

• Multiple sources including google searches and school-generated resources

• Only 2% of teachers reported NO access to internet

• Over 80% had a combination high/low speed access from home and school

• No one reported only dial-up access

lesson plans weekly or daily

• 3% never use the internet for lesson plans

• 60% are satisfied with the information they access
