Snowman

Math

Start the holiday season with this clever math idea.

Cut several snowmen from white paper. Labeleach one with a different math problem. Tapethe snowmen to popsicle sticks and write the

answers on the bottom of the sticks.Decorate a shallow box with holiday wrappingpaper. Cut slits in the box with an art knife andinsert each stick so that the answer is hidden.

Students can solve the math problems and thenpull the snowmen to check their answers.
