Using the DATA Collected
• What does the data tell us?• How will we use the data?• How can the data inform our
Professional Development plan? School Improvement?
• How can the data help us help teachers?
![Page 14: Teacher Evaluation System](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062517/568137e2550346895d9f8ba6/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
ESU 10’s Role• Facilitation of the creation of the tool• Professional development in the use &
understanding of the tool/process• Management of the technology• ESU wide reports for the purpose of
identifying needs & designing aligned PD• Assisting schools in prioritizing local PD
needs

Setting Up Your Local Tool
![Page 22: Teacher Evaluation System](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062517/568137e2550346895d9f8ba6/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Next Steps• Complete building your local tool• Pilot the tool in 2012-13• Advisory committee to adopt improvements as the
State recommendations come forth & participating schools identify need areas
IF you decide to use this as a formal tool, you must first:• Local Board approval of the new tool• Submit to State for approval• Teacher awareness training
