Teacher/Employee Overview
The PDP Premier application allows teachers/employees to register for an event. Thereare two ways a teacher/employee can submit a request.
1. Use the Blank Form - The first way is to enter a personal request by filling out the
blank form and then submitting the request for approval. Once the proper approvalshave taken place, the teacher will receive an e-mail and permission to attend the
activity. After the teacher attends the event, credit will be approved and applied to theteacher/employees totals for credits, stipends or contractual hours. The teacher will
see an accurate reflection of all totals via their summary page. Activity status for each
event will be displayed.
2. District Catalog - The second way to submit an event is to select an event from yourschool district catalog. Simply reference your district catalog, find the event and
submit for approval. After the teacher/employee has been approved, teacher willattend the event and receive proper credit for the event.
Getting Started Logging into PDP PremierBegin at the eBOCES website: www.eboces.org *Bookmark this site or
Look for the link on your school web site.
Next: Type in your user id and password.
Note: After 60 minutes of inactivity, the system will log you out automatically and ask
the user to log back in.

Employee Summary
The employee summary displays a complete detail page for the teacher/employee profile.The employee profile summary consists of the following demographic information about
the teacher/employee.
Employee Name
Birthdate
Location
Tenure Area
Tenure Date
Position Type Certification Subject, Date and Type
Department
Status Active/Inactive
PDP Tracking Start and End
Teach History

Summary of Hours Tab
Directly below the teacher profile totals for PDP Hours, Contract Hours, Stipend Hoursand SED Hours are organized in colored rows and columns to be easily referenced.
The summary of hours provides a comprehensive look of the various hours and current
status of each type of hour. The columns list the event type and level for each event. Eachevent type also has specific hours displayed to include PDP Hours, Contract Hours,
Stipend Hours and SED Hours. Current Year Totals, Past Year Totals and Grand Totals
are totaled and listed with a present total for each type of hour. At a quick glance varioushour totals as well as grand totals can be referenced.
Summary of Credits and Stipends
The bottom portion of the Employee Summary Page of Hours provides totals for Credits,Pending Hours, Paid Credits and Unpaid Credits.

List of Requests TabThis tab which is located right next to the default Summary of Hours Page tab is used to
sort Event Types. Utilize the radio buttons as filters to Search Current Year Events and
Future Requests Only.

Apply ButtonClick the Apply Button after your selections have been made for the results to be
displayed.
List of RequestsAre also displayed by Event Type. Make your selection and click the Apply Button.

List of Requests - Records per PageAt the bottom left of this page select 25, 50 or 100 records per page to be displayed.
Request Event Name - (hyperlink)
Specific details about the event are displayed when this link is clicked. Event details suchas Event Title, Event Type, Provider/Presenter, Contact E-Mail, Date, etc. Contract,
Stipend and SED Teach Hours can be easily referenced. The teacher/employee can filter
the list by utilizing the radio buttons. Search Current Requests Only or Search All Past
Requests Only and then click the Apply Button. Approval dates for the event will thenwill be displayed.

Click on the Event Hyperlink (Event Name) and see the specific information about theevent.

ApprovalsAt the bottom left of the page Pre-Approve, Approve, Final Approval dates and names
are displayed.

Enter Personal Request Blank Form
All titles in Blue (*) is required information. Fill out as much information as you canabout the event. If any required records or fields are left blank, an error will be displayed
indicating what information is missing. The free form is used to enter/submit a new
request for an event.

Required RecordsIf required information is left out of the form a message will be displayed indicating
what information is missing. The message will continue to be displayed until all required
information has been entered in the form. Once all the information is completed in theform, the event can then be properly submitted.
Enter a Request Blank FormContinue to fill out the form by filling out the Event Title and Event Type etc. Use the
calendar lookup to populate a date, fill out a description and justification. Once all
records and fields in the blank form are completed, submit the event for the approvalprocess. The teacher/employee will then receive an e-mail from their buildingadministrator to attend the requested event.
Note:Records in blue (*) is required information. These records must be completed and filled
out completely. If any of the mandatory records are left blank a message will be
displayed indicating what information is needed to complete the form.

Hours
Once all the required and optional information about the event has been filled outincluding the Hours Contract, Stipend and/or SED Teach Click the Submit Button atthe bottom (left) of this page to submit your new request.
Other Buttons
Delete this would be used to delete your entry
View Summary will provide the summary page
View Request List will display a list of all requested events
View District Catalog catalog will show events that are currentlyavailable

Use the filter button to further refine your list of catalog events. Make proper choices
from desired selections.

Use the calendar look up to populate your dates for the event. Events will then bedisplayed for the timeframe indicated in the to/from dates. Make desired selections and
click the apply button for request.
Event TitleMake this selection when the event title is known. Type in the title and click the apply
button for the event to be displayed. Once the selection is made follow the steps to submitfor approval process.
Event TypeJust click the menu pull-down to select a specific event type. Click the Apply Button for
those event types to be displayed.

List of Events - The next page will be displayed to be reviewed for a list of events. Findthe desired event and submit for approval. Once the event has been submitted, the
approval process will begin.
Hyperlink- Click on the event title hyperlinkfor specific information such as date and
time about the event to be displayed. Submit the event request for approval.
Submit Button - Go to the bottom left of the page and Click the Submit Button. The event
then is saved and submitted for approvals. Once the event has been approved an e-mailwill be sent. Once approved, the teacher/employee can then attend the event. If you
should have any questions about the status of the event, contact your building
administrator.

Catalog Links Colleges, Universities and Other
Use the links at the bottom of the page to look for other events. Just go to the desiredchoice and click on that link. Enter all information about the course via the Enter a New
Request free form. Be sure to submit your new request.

PDP Premier with Basic RegistrationSystem and Browser Requirements
Note: Other machine, O/S, and browser combinations may work; however, they may
experience unexpected results.
PC REQUIREMENTS:
Display: 1024 x 768 resolution or higher is recommended
Machine: Windows 2000, XP or higher
Browsers: Enable JavaScript, cookies, and pop-ups for the site.
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higherFirefox 2.0 or higher
Data Export:In order to use the export, you must have Microsoft Excel installed on your machine.
Other spreadsheet applications that can read Excel files can be used as well.
MAC REQUIREMENTS:
