It’s a Girl Jed and Cortney Rockwood welcomed into the world, Tessa Ruth, on 6/2/16. Tessa weighed in at 7 lbs 4oz, 20 inches long. Mommy and baby are doing well. Siblings, Graham and Millie are excited about their new baby sister!
The proud parents are thankful for all the thoughts and prayers during the delivery. We will be having a diaper shower for Tessa by having a hamper next to the table in the foyer. Diapers, un-scented wipes, or anything you’d like to give for baby Tessa, would be much appreciated!

Missions: All Around Us
We are currently doing meals for two families in our congregation: Larry & Vanna Akers, while she undergoes treatments for cancer; and Tyler VanNess & sons, while
Amber is on deployment in the Middle East. If you would like to provide a meal for either or both of these families but don't have access to the online form to sign up, please contact Cheryl at 812-249-1362. She will be glad to help you find a date that's available for a meal. A very special THANK YOU goes out to all the ladies who have already signed up to participate in this ministry of compassionate care. You are helping to make these difficult situations easier!
Operation Christmas Child Angela Short is coordinating Operation Christmas Child this year through Samaritan’s Purse ministries. This ministry helps provide Christmas “shoebox” gifts to children who may rarely receive gifts for themselves, if at all, and
uses the gifts as a way to share the Gospel and build ministries in various foreign countries through the OCC outreach. There are various ways to get involved such as making your own shoebox gift, providing shoeboxes and/or materials for the shoeboxes and/or donating to help ship the shoebox gifts. The container for materials donated is by the Welcome Center. Ideas for creating/packing shoeboxes can be obtained at the table in the foyer. Please see Angela for more questions.
CPC Bottle Campaign If you choose to support the Crisis Pregnancy Center by taking a baby bottle to fill with coins, at the DOTK Ladies Event in May, the bottles are due in to Misty by
Sunday, July 19th. CPC will be collecting the bottles that week.
