Project Share Gateway Resources

• OnTRACK lessons are now available as Project Share Gateway resources.

• The Gateway does not require login credentials.

• The resources and their links are listed in OnTRACK syllabi for grade 8, English I, and English II.

Write for Texas

• Write for Texas will continue in the 2015‒2016 school year.

• The initiative has expanded to include all education service centers, National Writing Project of Texas sites, and the 50 largest districts.

• Online PD and resources continue to be available at no cost to all districts and individual educators.

Write for Texas

• The PEG writing® program is serving approximately 50 districts and 50,000 students during the 2014‒2015 school year.

• The program will continue to be available at no cost for the 2015‒2016 school year and will grow to include new districts.

• Interested districts may contact PEG writing® to learn more.

RtI for Reading and Writing Webinars

• TEA is preparing to launch an RtI app in summer 2015.

• The app provides guidance for administrators and teachers in reading, writing, math, and behavior.

• The RtI & Reading webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, at 3:30‒4:30 p.m.

• The RtI & Writing webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at 3:30‒4:30 p.m.

• Participants earn one continuing education credit (CEC).
