before top coating make sure that the fire retardant coating is dried through (test by finger nail!)

• temperature of FS84, ambient air and substrate > 5 °C • humidity < 80% • keep below dew point • FS84 can be applied by brush, roller or spray • tip size: airless: 0.009" - 0.013" • coverage rate: 130 - 180 g/m2 (depending on the colour shade) = wet about

130 μm = dry 60 μm • thinner: Xylene, max. 5% • if FS84 out of different batches must be applied, mix both materials before

using • gloss level depends on colour shade • colour shades containing metal pigments may modify by application by brush

or roller and by thinning Drying • The drying time depends on temperature and humidity. At a temperature of

approx. 20 °C and a humidity of approx. 65% the drying time is as follows: • dust dry after about 1 hour • ready for the next layer after about 24 hours • dried through after 48 hours

Transport / Storage • Shelf life: 12 months in unopened containers; storage at ambient temperatures.

Packaging • supplied in 5 kg, 10 kg and 25 kg tin pails. Precautions for Safety Use
