Scope of the review

The scope of the review includes an assessment of Quality Assurance Plans and Controls to ensure the quality of the coil winding will perform to the Hall B Torus Specification. The review will focus on a typical series of Quality Assurance Elements critical to quality including the following:

 • Project QA/QC Plan and/or Manufacturing Plan• Project Organization Structure, Responsibilities, Supervision, and Oversight• Technician and Staff Training, Qualification, and Training Records• Work Environment• Work Processes including Assembly Travelers, QC Tests, Inspections, and related

procedures including rework and repair• Management and Control of Documents and Records• Calibration Program as applied to Calibrated Measuring and Test Equipment to be

used for the project• Non-Conformance Identification, documentation, and corrective action resolution• Traceability of materials• Product Realization Planning including Storage and control of materials, packaging,

and shipping plans and procedures• Purchasing and Verification of Purchased Products• Control of Purchased Items and Customer Supplied Materials and Equipment• Suspect Counterfeit Items Awareness & Prevention
