How to setup the TDK Life On Record A73 2 Speaker Boombox with an iMac

Note: Not all iMac’s have Bluetooth capability. Assure that yours does before proceeding. Refer to

iMac documentation or www.apple.com for more information.

1. Turn on and login to your iMac.

2. Apply power to the TDK life on Record A73.

3. Turn the A73 on.

4. Select Bluetooth on the A73 by pressing the source button and turning the knob to Bluetooth.

5. Turn the volume of the A73 up a bit (to about 50%).

6. Press and hold the source knob on the A73 until a beep is heard (about 3 seconds) and then

release the knob. The A73 is now in BT discovery mode.

7. On the iMac, open the System Preferences application.

8. You will see a screen like this, open the Bluetooth App.

9. Now you will see the Bluetooth screen. Click on Sharing Setup.

10. After a moment, the A73 will appear in the list. Select it so it is highlighted and the click

Continue.

11. An acknowledgement of pairing completed will appear. Click Quit.

12. Now you will see the A73 is added to the list of connected devices. Close this App.

13. Now open the Sound App.

14. And select the A73 Stereo as the Output device.
