Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 2010-2012 Agency of the Year AwardsTBWA\HAKUHODO Japan was named Campaign Asia Pacific’s ‘Agency of the Year’ for Japan / North Asia for three years in a row (2010-2012). Ichiro Zama, president and CEO, won ‘Agency Head of the Year’ in 2011 and Mitsuru Takamatsu,Chief Strategy Officer, won ‘New Business Person of the Year’ in 2012.

Creativity MagazineCreativity magazineʼs Annual Awards Report, which began in 2004, has ranked TBWA as the most creatively recognized network in the world for three of the last five years. In 2010 TBWA was ranked the second most creatively recognized network; TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris ranked third and TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles ranked ninth as the most creatively recognized agencies in the world.

The Effie AwardsTBWA has been awarded the most Grand Effies of any agency network. The Effie Awards honor the most significant achievement in marketing communications: ideas that work. Since 1980 in the U.S., only 32 Grand Effies have been awarded. TBWA has won the distinction 12 times. In 2011, TBWA was awarded Grand Effies in France (TBWA\Paris was the most awarded Effies agency in France), Netherlands, Hong Kong and the Middle East.

Gatorade ReplayTBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles won a Best in Show GRANDY at the 2010 International ANDY Awards for Gatorade “Replay.” The campaign also picked up two Grand Prix Lions, four Gold Lions, one Silver and one Bronze, making it the most awarded campaign of 2010's Cannes Lions competition. In 2011, the campaign continued with Replay 2 & 3, winning two Pencils at the D&AD Awards, and Best in Show at the One Show.

The Pencil RankingsAt the 2011 D&AD and One Show, TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles ranked third overall in the world. They were also first at the One Show in the Agency category. At D&AD, TBWA\London was recognized with one Pencil for Skittles, three nominations, two in-book and two shortlists for John Smith’s and Skittles.

Grand Prix des Agences de l'AnnéeTBWA\Paris has been chosen as Advertising Agency of the Year at the ceremony of the 32nd Agencies of the Year’s Grand Prix (Grand Prix des Agences de l'Année). TBWA\Adelphi has been named Agency of the Year in the healthcare category. BEING has been recognized Integrated Communication Agency of the Year.
