lined with plastic layer or any other

appropriate healthy material so that

it does not result any physical or

chemical properties of the eggs will

not be affected.

2. Packages requirements shall meet

hygienic requirements of food product

containers and shall be free from

any undesirable odors.

3. Liquid, frozen, dried and frozen-

dried eggs shall be packed under vacuum

or in presence of Nobel gas such as

(nitrogen or nitrogen and carbon dioxide).

4. Liquid eggs shall be stored at a

temperature of not more than 5° C

for a period of not more than 5 days

and dried while frozen-dried eggs

shall be stored at a temperature of

not more than (10°C) and for 6

months in maximum, and frozen

eggs shall be stored at a

temperature of (-18°C) and for a

period not exceeding six months.

administrative monetary penalties for non-

Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The

Cigarette Ignition Propensity (Consumer Products) Regulations would replace the

Cigarette Ignition Propensity Regulations (which would be repealed after these new

Regulations are made).

The proposed Cigarette Ignition Propensity (Consumer Products) Regulations would require that cigarettes

burn their full length no more than 25% of

the time, when tested on 10 layers of filter

paper using standard ISO 12863 entitled

Standard test method for assessing the ignition propensity of cigarettes. This

method closely aligns with the ASTM

International Method E2187 - 04 currently

referenced in the Cigarette Ignition Propensity Regulations.

Once the Cigarette Ignition Propensity (Consumer Products) Regulations have

been made, the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act would expressly prohibit the

manufacture (including for the purpose of

export), the import (including for personal

use), the sale (including distribution) and

the advertisement of cigarettes in Canada

that do not meet the prescribed cigarette

ignition propensity standard. However,

these Regulations would not apply to

cigarettes that are imported by an

organization for the purposes of research,

laboratory testing or analysis.

Given that the performance standard would

remain unchanged, cigarette manufacturers

would not be required to make changes to

currently marketed cigarettes in order to be

compliant with the proposed Cigarette Ignition Propensity (Consumer Products) Regulations.

ANSI/AHRI Standard 310/380-2004, and

require testing with 14-inch deep wall

sleeves and the filter option most

representative of a typical installation.

These updates fulfill DOE's obligation

under EPCA to review its test procedures

for covered equipment at least once every

7 years and either amend the applicable

test procedures or publish a determination

in the Federal Register not to amend them.

DOE will hold a public meeting to discuss

and receive comments on the issues

presented in this notice.
