First Sunday of theMarch was MissionUnit’s turn to takecare of the FeedingProgram. The Kuyasand Ates preparedthe nutritious ArrozCaldo with chickenand eggs.

The original schedulewas supposedly atLower Ka Godoy.Yet as the grouparrived, there wereno activity in theirchapel. The Cate-chists were with thechildren at Upper KaGodoy chapel.

So we had the feed-ing done there in-stead. There wereabout 120 childrenwho partook of thedelicious ArrozCaldo. Another batchof kids were blessedbecause there areBCBP Kuyas and Ateswho care.

pious adoration.

It was indeed a GoodFriday for all theKuyas and Ates who

came to decorate theCaro of the Sto. En-tiero of the SacredHeart of Jesus Parishat Pajac.

This has been anannual activity of thecommunity spear-

headed by the Inter-cessory Ministry.Year after year wesaw a great improve-ment in the way wedecorated the Caro.As year after year we

BCBP-COMELEC-PPCRV Joint Election AdvocacyBCBP has entered into a joint advocacy with the Commission on Elections and the ParishPastoral Council for Responsible Voting for the 20110 elections. The BCBP takes the lead in

conceptualizing and producing communications materials for voters education and dissemina-tion of the campaign materials and messages to t he public.

The campaign targets to educate voters to choose their leaders well and to make sure theirvotes are counted. This is summarized in the compelling slogan:

‘Are You Mad at Me?’For giving more at-tention to others, forseeing others moreblessed than I am, forignoring my prayerpetitions, for givingme more burdens tocarry, these all leadme to complain andcomplain and com-plain. I also complainbecause I can feelthat you are at timesunfair. Haven’t younoticed I am com-plaining almost everytime I pray? GOD,are you mad at me?Are you fed up withmy complaining?But God was too

quick to reply. In oneof the morningmasses in Carmelites,the priest said in his

homily that it’s per-fectly alright to com-plain to God forwhatever reason.Prayers do not onlyinclude acclamations,supplications andthanksgiving, butsometimes it mayalso have complaints.God won’t be mad.He won’t get angry.Well, perhaps for amoment but He sim-ply loves us so much.He listens. You, me,us, complaining toGod is just being

honest and truthfulabout our feelings. Itonly shows that wehave deep and mean-

ingful relationshipwith our God. ThatGod is real in ourlives. So, don’t worry. It’sOK to complain. Godwon’t be MAD at us.HE will never beMAD at us.Oh, but don’t forget,appreciate and thankHim too. He alsoneeds a pat in theback…

Since I introducedthe Way of the Crossto our Subdivision,we did it without failon the evening of Spy

W ednesday (t heWednesday of theHoly Week) everyyear.This time however, itrained. It tested myfaith. I entertainedthoughts like, “Shouldwe go for it?” But I

already had the Sta-tions’ posters distrib-uted to the desig-nated household. So I

much if we soiledour knees as wegenuflected from thefirst to the 14thstation.

And we did it. Norain bothered usfrom start to finish.Our very faithfulGod saw the inten-tion of our heartsand He never failedus.
