The taxonomy links people and content across the Cluster making it easy to filter for information on specific topics.

Cluster taxonomies can be customized to match your company’s or organization’s terminology*.

*Custom taxonomy is not available for Clusters in The Water Network.

Access the options to customize the taxonomy from the Manager Panel.

The default taxonomy and management options are display In Cluster Setup under the tab ‘Manage Taxonomy’

The default taxonomy is set up in a 3-level hierarchy. To remove the defaults, mouse over the highest level term to access the settings.

The option to delete the term is on the settings page.

Deleting a term from the taxonomy will automatically remove all sub-terms.

Before deleting, check the term page to see if content or members have used this term or one of the sub-terms.

Members’ would need to be alerted to update their Know-how and content.

Once the whole default taxonomy is cleared, click the button ‘Add new term’.

Terms can be assigned to a ‘Parent’ to build a hierarchical taxonomy.

Terms with the parent <root> will be displayed in the 1st level.

Add new terms and assign to specific parents to create your own 3-level taxonomy.

New terms are automatically organized by parent term.
