1 Introduction

1.1 BackgroundTaxi apps allow users easy access, user-friendly experience to book, track and compare taxi prices in real time. The taxi applications are designed and developed for taxi drivers and passengers. From bustling big cities to sleepy small towns, taxi drivers play an important role in transporting people from one location to another.

This module allows user to do following actions:• Allow Passenger to signup in the applications for booking.• Then, Passenger will be able to select cars based (SUV,Sidan,Hatchback) as per the

requirements.• List of Divers shown in the application, slect & proceed with journey.• On the other hand, Driver's signup into the application and see the requests of Passenger and

reach to passenger destination & complete with journey.

1.2 Design GoalsThe module should be designed in such a way, that users will find it easy and intuitive to use. The module should be easy to navigate and understand. An efficient design is especially important, because if users are unable to use the module, then a major project goal may be left unfulfilled, namely to providean effective platform to support collaboration amongst group members.

2 Scope & Objectives

2.1 ScopeThe app dispatches a taxi in just a few taps for safe taxi rides. Order a cab – your order is sent directly to the drivers in your area so they reach you as quickly as possible.

KEY FEATURES:

• Advance Booking:-You can book advance before leaving to anywhere.

• One touch booking: Simply open the app and click on ‘book’.

• Meter Rates :-Drivers can set there default meter rates and get fare quotes in the app according to vehicles.(SUV, Sedan, Limousine,VIP etc.)..

• Location: - Track your location through GPRS in real time. - or Manually edit or select your location. - Confirm your location and tap “Request taxi”.

• Map Feature: -Track the jiCabs driver coming your way on the map. - or Call him directly. - See your ride en-route on the map.

• Know your driver: Once you book a taxi cab, you get detailed information about your driver.

• Payment options: Pay by cash or by Braintree and also support multicurrency.

• Rating:- Client help us to serve better.

• Safer:-Set a destination to calculate the fare and the arrival time while tracking driver's identity and cab info. We thoroughly screen and train each driver to ensure that only those with clear history and best skills became our partners.

• Social media integration:- User can login through the Facebook.
