En la Gaceta Oficial N39.866 de fecha 16 de febrero de2012, fue publicada Providencia NSNAT/2012/0005 defecha 16 de febrero de 2012, emanada del ServicioNacional Integrado de Administracin Aduanera yTributaria (SENIAT), la cual se establece el aumento de laUnidad Tributara a Bs. 90,00

La mencionada Providencia reajusta el valor de la UnidadTributaria (UT) de 76,00 Bs a 90,00 Bs.

Ahora bien, en lo casos que los tributos se liquiden porperodos anuales, la Unidad Tributaria aplicable ser la queest vigente durante por lo menos 183 das continuos delperodo respectivo, y para los tributos que se liquiden porperodos distintos al anual, la Unidad Tributaria aplicableser la que est vigente para el inicio del perodo, todo ellode conformidad con lo establecido en el Pargrafo Tercerodel artculo 3 del Cdigo Orgnico Tributario (COT).

Increase of the Tax Unit (TU) to Bs.90.00

Administrative Order NSNAT/2012/0005 , issued bythe National Integrated Service of Tax and CustomsAdministration (SENIAT) was published in OfficialGazette N39.866 of February 16, 2012, providing forthe increase of the Tax Unit to Bs.90,00.

Such Order readjusts the value of the Tax Unit (TU)from Bs.76.00 to Bs.90,00.

For taxes paid annually, the applicable tax unit shall bethat in force for at least one hundred eighty-three (183)continuous days of the respective period; for taxes paidother than annually, the applicable tax rate shall be thateffective from the beginning of the period., all of theabove in pursuance with Article 3 of the Master TaxCode.
