He beyond whom passes not

he hope of the hopers!

He with whom is not lost

he wage of the good-doers!

He who is the ultimate object

f the fear of the worshipers!

He who is the utmost limit

f the dread of the god-fearing!

his is the station of himhom sins have passed from

and to hand.

ffenses' reins have led him on,

nd Satan has gained mastery

ver him.

e fell short of what Thou hast

ommanded

hrough neglect

nd he pursued what Thou hastrohibited

n delusion,

ke one ignorant of Thy power

ver him

r one who denies the bounty

f Thy beneficence toward him,

ntil, when the eye of guidance

as opened for himnd the clouds of blindness

ere dispelled,

e reckoned that through

hich he had wronged himself

nd reflected upon that in

hich he had opposed his Lord.

very object of longing buthee,

nd his fright departed from

very object of fear but Thee.

o he stood before Thee

leading,

is eyes turned toward the

round in humbleness,

is head bowed before Thy

ight in lowliness;

e revealed to Thee in meekness

hose secrets of his which Thou

nowest better than he;

e numbered for Thee in

umility

hose sins of his which Thou

ountest better than he;

e sought help from Thee

efore the dreadful into which

e has fallen

n Thy knowledge

nd the ugly which has

isgraced him

n Thy judgement:

he sins

hose pleasures have turned

e will not deny Thy justice,

y God,Thou punishest him,

or will he consider Thy

o here I am:

have come to Thee

beying Thy command

for Thou hast commanded

o Thee, my Lord, belongs

hat I will not return

o what is disliked by Thee,

y guarantee

hat I will not go backo what Thou blamest,

nd my covenant

hat I will stay away

om acts of disobedience to

God,

hou knowest better what I

ave done,o forgive me what Thou

nowest

nd turn me through Thy

ower to what Thou lovest!

God,

ounted against me are

aims that stay in my memory

nd claims that I have

orgotten,

hile all of them remain in

hy eye that does not sleep

nd Thy knowledge that does

ot forget!

o compensate their owners,

ghten their load upon me,

ft up their weight from me,

nd preserve me from

pproaching their like!

God,

ut I can not be faithful to my

epentance

ithout Thy preservation,

or can I refrain from offenses

ithout Thy strength.

o strengthen me with a

God,

any servant repents to Thee,

hile in Thy knowledge of the

Unseen heill break his repentance

nd return to his sin and

seek refuge in Thee lest I be

o make this my repentance

fter which I will need no

epentancend a repentance

hich will obligate the erasing

f what has gone by

nd safety in what remains!

God,

ask pardon from Thee for my

gnorance,

nd I ask Thee to disregard my

vil acts!

o join me to the shelter of Thy

ercy

hrough graciousness

nd cover me with the covering

f Thy well-being

hrough bounteousness!

God,

repent to Thee fromverything opposed to Thy will

ut in order that Thy heaven

nd Thy earth and those upon it

ay hear the remorse which I

ave professed to Thee

hich I have sought asylum

hen perhaps one of them,

hrough Thy mercy,

ay show mercy upon my evil

s Thou hast commanded

s Thou hast urged

o also bless Muhammad and
