CASA of Lexington recruits and trains volunteers who are then assigned to a child abuse and neglect court case. CASA volunteers come from all social and economic backgrounds, bringing a wide variety of experiences to the agency. CASA of Lexington asks that volunteers be willing to commit to 10 hours a month for two years, in order to provide consistency to children in an otherwise ever-changing system. Please contact Rachel Moody at [email protected] or 859-246-4317 with any questions or interest in becoming a CASA volunteer. e next training class starts January 23, 2014.
