4+4+4=12 years compulsory;

Publicly financed;

Free of charge in State schools, but not in Special schools.

Vocational education starts from High school.

Both day and boarding school;

Co-educational;

A total of 82 students: (40 borders and 42 day-students);

Supporters such as nurse, tutors and other persons;

The disabled students receive schooling, lunches and transportation to and from school;

All municipal buses, metro and ferry are free of charge for the disabled.

Teachers of the Deaf in Turkey qualify through full-time study at university lasting a minimum of four years.

All teachers in Primary school are the «specialized teachers» in the field of deaf education.

but all are normal «branch teachers» in Middle School.

We use total method in teaching and training of the deaf.

A few special schools are oral.

Sign language isn’t taught systematically in our school.

Children usually wear hearing aids or have cochlear implants and, additionally, use FM systems in the class.

TURKISH, MATH, ICT, SCIENCE, CİVİCS, FOREİGN LANGUAGE, SOCIAL

SCIENCES, MUSIC, DRAWİNG, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, HANDİCRAFTS AND

RELİGİON AND ETHİC.
