Electronic Portfolios facilitate the creation, collection and assessment of learning artifacts supporting individual and programmatic achievement of articulated standards. The following instructions will guide you through the process to create your electronic portfolio. Villanova University will provide the account until six months after you graduate, at that point, you may continue the subscription on your own or download your portfolios.

To begin, go to: http://www.villanova.edu then login to myNova.

Within the myNova portal, click on the eLearn icon in the upper right corner.

Sign into to the Blackboard learning System by clicking the Log In button.

Within the My WebCT portal, scroll down to the "External Courses" section and click on "My

ePortfolio"

In the Select a Registration Option, choose your category ("I am a Student") then click Continue.

Next, select the option to "Create a new TaskStream account" then click the Continue button.

In Step 2 of 4, please read the terms of usage information then proceed to the Categories drop-down menu. Select Villanova University. For College/Program select your college (e.g.: Arts & Sciences). Next, choose your Department (aka: major).

Finally, select your Group (Students). Click Continue.

In the General Information screen, complete the required fields then accept the End-user Agreement by clicking the "I accept..." checkbox. Click continue.

* note: you may leave the Username set to your Villanova User ID and you can set the password the same as your Villanova User ID or to something different.

Upon completion of your registration, click on the link to go to TaskStream's homepage to log in.

You are now at the Homepage.

Please note that subsequent logins to your TaskStream account are streamlined by entering your

ePortfolio account through the same path used to create your account under the External Courses section of the My WebCT portal. Clicking on the link will allow you to go directly into your account without the requirement to log back in.

Another benefit of the integration between TaskStream and our Learning Management System is that you may access and upload files stored within the Content Manager section of your My WebCT portal and add them

to your portfolio.
