Students will use the skills developed in Photoshop and Adobe Premier to Animate a still comic strip. The final product will be completed in Premier Pro, but the use of smartphones, Zoom Audio recorder, Photoshop and audition will enhance their final product. Homework Photoshop Voice Recording Task Your task is to create an Animated Comic Strip of your Choice. 1. Watch the provided examples as a class and make note of which videos were better than others. 2. Research and select a Comic Strip from google images. The comic must be at least 5 cells in length with speech bubbles. – search a large image to make the image in better resolution. Save the image into a new folder called COMIC ANIMATION TASK 3. Using Photoshop, cut and save each Cell individually – in addition, cut and save the speech bubbles/sound effects individually. 4. Create a script for each cell using the story board method. Write down voices, tone and sound effects. SAVE AS PNG. 5. Voices, Sound effects etc - Recorded using a smart phone at home in a quiet atmosphere or a school using the Zoom Audio recorded using a music rehearsal room (negotiated.) 6. Use Premier Pro to piece the comic back together accompanied by the use of key frames for animation between each cell and speech bubbles.
