The equipment needed for this task will be:

-A Digital SLR camera (To take the images)-A Camera charger (for precaution if the shoot(s) takes a long time)-A Tripod (To make sure there is no camera shake for the images)

-Card reader (for when the images are to be uploaded)-Adobe Photoshop C6 (To buy for use so images can be developed outside of college time)Photoshop will be used to combine the images together.

ExperimentI am going to produce a set of three images that share both the Nature and Fear options on the task. These are going to be taken in the style of Jerry Uelsmann’s work with the surreal aspect.

Using Multiple Exposure to do this would be the most appropriate and show human body parts merging with nature itself.

I will make these because I saw some of Uelsmann’s work as well as having an interest in the environment and showing the two together would be an interesting effect.

Each image taken will follow from the last one. It will almost like a Storyboard. This will be in the idea of a Journey, a Journey through the woods.

The images taken will originally be ordinary photographs. However, when imported and placed into Photoshop they will then be altered and arranged to fit in the brief and the idea above.

An idea I have a strong view on and will more then likely be producing will be of seeing Eyes and a face come out of a tree in one piece and further along the path, seeing hands as the bark of a tree.

The three images will differ in the fact that they will be from different angles and from further apart. The first image will be a long shot from the beginning of the woods.

The second image will be a close up to the surroundings and a tree in particular, with the last shot looking up at a tree from a low angle and seeing the surreal hand on the bark.

Many images will be taken to show the story, however the three best images will be taken and submitted. If I believe that I could submit more then I will consider it due to three being a minimum amount.
