In order to support new employees you have been asked to explain the

uses tools to check and proofread work. Using your own work as an

example.

Spellchecker

A spellchecker checks the spelling you your work, spellchecker locates words

that are incorrectly spelt and gives you the right word to replace it with. When

there is a spelling mistake Microsoft Word will automatically show a red

zigzag line underneath that word to warn you that you have spelt the word

wrong. This is an essential tool for new employees because it can help them

locate words that haven’t been spelt properly. Below is how you spell check

on a mac

Another very useful tool for new employees is thesaurus; this tool allows the

user to have a wide variety of words with the same meaning, this helps the

user to find different words that they can use in different situations, this

depends on whom they are writing to and what they are talking about for

example if its going to formal they may not want to use slang terms in their
