Target Audience…

The target audience for Billboard magazine varies from young teens, from the age of 16, to young adults, at the age of 26. This is because the magazine provides its readers with the latest updates from the charts, but of different and various types of genres.

This is to widen the range of the target audience as it acquired to people who listen to different genres such as; rock, metal, pop, R n B and plenty more.

As well as this, the layout of the magazine itself it very mature as it is not over- crowded with images of teen bands and other artists, or even consisting of a colour pallet which clashes.

Furthermore, it does not advertise news and gossip of the artist’s lives, but only conveys the weekly update of the music charts. Although, it also conveys artist’s stylist tips and what not.
