What is Blip TV?

Blip TV has a wide variety of genres and shows for the audience to choose from such as Drama, Comedy, Animation, Music and many more. Blip TV is also beneficial as the audience can watch whenever they want, unlike TV shows. There is also many advantages for the people uploading the videos, such as you can upload much bigger and longer videos than possible on YouTube. It is also free for users which is very beneficial for them as they can watch what they like without paying. Lastly it is easy for the audience to keep up to date with the series as all episodes within the series are uploaded at the same time.What advantages does it offer the audience?

Blip TV uses advertising throughout the episode, which is not popular with the viewers. This could mean that viewers go elsewhere to watch TV. If a show doesnt get enough views, it gets deleted from Blip TV, this will disappoint and frustrate the audience as what they want to watch has been deleted.

What disadvantages does it offer the audience?

Netflix has become one of the most popular film websites going. They have many shows on their website and also make their own Web Dramas. Netflix have changed peoples original ideas of Web Dramas, and this may be good for their website, but not as good as an original, low budget, unknown cast, web drama. Netflix have gained lots of income from this as users have to pay for a Netflix account, this also goes to producers which means they can make more shows.What impact has Netflix had on the web drama genre?
