Legal, ethical, moral issuesI need to consider that there are many number of constraints when producing journalism, for example legal and ethical issues. Copyright is an issue I will face as I am taking images from google to include in my wix site, I will have to ask the owner for permission before I use the image. I will include my own photographs which I do not require any copyright clearance.

I will also have to consider Ethical issues as I am going to interview Manchester united supporters and hear their opinions on the football team, u cannot be biased and aim to get the same opinions that are similar to mine, I have to get many different opinions in order to gain a fair interview. I have to be accurate with the information I use. According to IPSO ‘Clause 1 Accuracy’ ‘’the press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information, including pictures’’.

I need to be careful as IPSO handle complaints about breaches of the Editors’ Code of practice, they also operate a new complaints procedure that is designed to achieve speedy and fair resolution of complaints. Also according to Clause 4 I need to check that my Film review column doesn’t ‘’harass’’ or concern the audience of my publication intends to publish information that believes to breach the Editors’ Code, that IPSO may be able to assit.
