Curing method・ Be sure to cover the whole surface of waste PCB storage tanks and drum washing building (covering the entire surface method)・ Curing must be formed in dual structure・ Set changing room (used for workers going in and out) and front room (used for vehicles going in and out)・ This curing method should be designed in compliance with “guidelines for structural performance of buildings with a limited term”.

Demolition work(1) Faithfully follow the “Outline on countermeasures against exposure to dioxins”, refer to the dismantling method manual and design the plan(2) Try hard to find the way without using fire(3) Put PCB waste to a sealed container like “bakkan” (detachable container) or oil drum shown below in the cured place(4) Below is the main steps for demolition work (high temperature decomposition facilities are demolished in regular way)

Storage and treatment of wastes
(1) All the PCB wastes should be kept and managed in compliance with the law Any equipment with no PCBs detected should be disposed according to Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law(2) Estimated wastes containing PCBs 1) Waste PCBs supplying equipment within the area of high temperature thermal destruction facilities 2) No.1 – No.4 Waste PCBs tanks & drum washing building 3) Any devices which has contact with PCBs within the filtering device building (3) The storage cabinet to keep PCBs waste 1) Newly build a storage cabinet to keep PCBs waste near filtering device building 2) The storage cabinet should have the strong structure to bear against the estimated Earthquakes in Yamasaki Fault zone and Tsunami height of Nankai Trough Earthquake in Takasago city 3) The new storage cabinet should be designed and constructed along with the Building Structure Law (verify to be proof against Earthquakes in Yamasaki Fault zone) 4) Because the surroundings of the storage cabinet is located T.P.+3m or more, any estimated tsunami height of Nankai Trough Earthquake will not reach the area( Prefecture : T.P. +2.3m, National government : T.P. +3m)
