Who is my target audience?

My target audience has always been for the young and educated. They would be the best candidates to watch the actually film as it would relate to them the most. However the best way to find this information properly is by getting statistics of similar films then comparing them to get a final answer. First film is Good Will Hunting. Primary audience were young adults/educated teens

Dead Man’s Shoes has a certificate of 18. however because of the violence and horror the audience appealed to young teens 14-15 years. There main audience were 18 to 30 years because of the themes that were made in the film.

2002 school ties also with Matt Damon. Target audience young educated adults. 18-25. (Main target)

My target audience

From the given research I now definitely know that my preferred (main) target audience needs to be the young and educated. 15-25. Secondary audience mature adults 18-30 working.

To accomplish this I must make sure that I relate to that specific audience. For that I need to understand them. As I am a teen in education currently, I know the inner workings of how my generation work and what they see as a relatable entertainment.

However some teens in other country's may not be able to fully understand the importance of the dramatic scenes, therefore they wont be able to relate to the film. I'm mainly looking for the UK audience and maybe the American audience witch is the largest in film.
