Target Audience Profile My pop music magazine is aimed at 9 to 14 year old girls who are in full time education. She has a fun, bubbly personality which is why she loves pop music so much as it compliments her bright personality. She feels that music is a crucial part in her life as it makes any situation more enjoyable. One of her favourite ways to enjoy music is when she is signing along to her favourite song with her best friends. Her favourite artist is Taylor swift as she is funny and girly, but also shy around new people like herself. Her hobbies include going to dance classes on a Saturday morning with her closest friends, followed by a sleepover in the evening where they do fun activities such as baking out, filling out personality quizzes which match them to popular celebrities and doing karaoke to their favourite songs. They enjoy talking about celebrity gossip among themselves and surprising each other with interesting facts. This usually leads to conversations about their male celebrity crushes, which among them consists of the band members of One Direction. While these activities are being completed she likes to post about them on her favourite social media Instagram, where she can see what all her favourite celebrities are doing, and even sometimes hear sneaky previews of their new music coming out! One of her main interests besides music is style. She loves to style her friends and herself to look like popular celebrities so she can be like them. Her favourite celebrity is Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift

She values spending time with her family as well as her friends, and she finds going on day trips out with them quite fun. Her favourite place to visit with her family is Madame Tussauds as she can take picture with what looks like her favourite celebs!
She reads pop magazines so she can get style tips from people she admires, to learn more about the music she likes and to connect with her friends with the quizzes and games. Her favourite movie is ‘Footloose’ as it contains everything she is interested in: music, romance, boys, and humour. These are all the things she looks for in a magazines as well.
