Touch Football PSSA Gala Day
Congratulations to our 2 Junior Mixed Touch teams who participated in
the Manning Zone Touch Football Gala Day. It was great to see all of
the students working together and displaying great sportsmanship.
Stage 2 Public Speaking Competition
Last week, Stage 2 held their Public Speaking Competition Final.
Students had to write a two minute speech on a topic of their choice.
Class competitions were held to decide the finalists. A Year 3 winner
and a Year 4 winner were chosen from each class.
The audience and adjudicators were very impressed with the quality of
the speeches as well as the range of interesting topics. All students
should be proud of themselves for making the finals.
Congratulations to Ella Abbott 3/4K who was our Year 3 winner and
Lara Uzun 3-4H who was our Year 4 winner. These students will
present their speech at an upcoming assembly.

Focus On Learning 3/4H had an absolute blast on Monday during our Science Day
activities. Students were challenged to build a newspaper tower that
was structurally strong enough to hold a chocolate on top. They also
had an added challenge to create the tallest tower. All students had a
lot of fun engaging in hands on STEM based activities.
