SMP Senior Scientist- Responsible for the implementation of alternate supplier materials offering more competitive costs. - Total savings +- USD 250K by end 2016- Identification of several areas for cost reductions, such as basis weight reductions of materials; alignment of material specifications across manufacturing sites to promote sourcing leverage
Supply Chain Project Manager- Design-to-Value: Managed the change of bottle material, formula adaptation and change of label material in line with a significant cost reduction for key skincare brand- Managed the transfer of consumer sample sachets from third party manufacturer to Johnson & Johnson plant
SMP Senior Scientist- Responsible for the transfer of sanitary napkin product from LATAM region to East London, South Africa- Key EMEA contact for Research & Development team, located in Brazil, LATAM region - supported launch of new sanitary napkins portfolio in South Africa and Sub-Saharan region- Accountable for the creation of product dossiers, encompassing all safety, regualtory and development documentation - required in order to release products to trade - for key sanitary napkins brand - Integral part of project team to purchase new manufacturing line to support volumes growth - ensured machine was able to meet product specifications
Supply Chain Project Manager- Upgrade of packaging graphics on all products for key sanitary napkins brand in South Africa with no impact to product supply and impact to business, and minimum write off of packaging componentry- Management of new product category launch into Noridcs and Sub-Saharan regions- Management of new product technology introduction to EMEA region, sourced from APAC region
ACHIEVEMENTS
2016: Successful management of project to launch of new femcare segments under existing brands to South Africa, including SSA, and Nordics markets. Products sourced from two separate manufacturing sites – Pomezia, Italy and Bangkok, Thailand2016: Successful and on-time project implementation of new packaging graphics on significant Johnson & Johnson brand to South Africa and SSA countries2015: Identified saving opportunities of $ 100k USD - Realised $40k USD savings in 2015 for the 2016 financial year, with the balance of the savings due for implementation in 2016, and included into 2017 business plan 2015: Encore Award (internal Johnson & Johnson award) - in recognition of the improved Credo Results within the Support for Marketed Products EMEA team2014: Turnaround time of 10 days to implement alternate cover material for product due to sudden closure of incumbent supplier - Average implementation time of alternate materials is +- 4-6 months2012: Encore Award (internal Johnson & Johnson award) – in recognition of my contribution to the re-launch of Stayfree feminine napkins range in Sub Saharan and South African markets
