SCHOOL PROFILEDALAT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
THE SCHOOLDalat International School was founded in 1929 as a private, Christian boarding school to provide a North American education for children of missionaries in Indo-China. In June 1971, Dalat School moved to its present location in Penang, Malaysia and in July 1999, the school became an independent school with an elected, policy governance school board.
All classes, except foreign language, are taught in English. The school provides ESL support through to grade 8 and limited Special Services as needed. The campus hosts the Distance Learning Resource Center which provides families with resources for home-schooling and distance education.

All students are required to take at least one online course during their high school career. Media Literacy is a course requirement included in the social studies credit. All students will be expected to complete 10 community service hours each year of enrollment.
