Struga, 14 June 2005 Dear Mr. Lukic, Please accept this letter of recommendation on behalf of Tanja Jancic. I have had the opportunity to work with Tanja in Vranje during 2003 when I arrived there to start the new branch of ProCredit Bank. Her responsibilities included all aspects of support in this regard - researching possible locations, making contacts with owners of the business premises, setting up meetings, and of course all related translation work. Tanja carried out this work showing great responsibility, dedication and hard work. Especially since this was the initial start up of the bank in a new city, it was extremely important that this start-up phase was taken care of with a high degree of professionalism, which Tanja always demonstrated. It is with her strong sense of initiative, thoroughness and creativity, that the new branch was able to be successfully started. Because of her excellent English and teaching skills and because of the very positive work experience I had had with her in the beginning of the branch, I decided to again employ Tanja. I offered her the positions of Loan Officer and Credit Advisor, which she refused because claiming” it was not her field”. Not wanting to lose her services, I employed her to teach English classes to my branch staff in Vranje. This job she accepted and is still currently working several evenings per week to teach English lessons to the staff. Again, I would like to point out that she is very reliable and dedicated, and that even after a short time, I was able to noticeably see improvements in my staff’s knowledge of English language. In my opinion, Tanja is a great resource and has unique, strong skills that can benefit any team. Please, if you need any further information, please feel free to contact me at any time.
