HUNTER CLASSES: Hunter classes will be judged on performance and soundness. Manners shall be emphasized and extreme speed penalized in all Junior and Pony classes. In the Pre-Green, Children’s, Adult Amateur and non-rated hunter sections horses will not be jogged for soundness. Management reserves the right to combine or cancel any divisions with insufficient entries. All horses will be scored on the open numerical system. Please see course diagram. JUMPERS In all jumper classes, ties involving first place will be jumped off. Ties for other than first place will be placed according to the time taken to complete the course. Orders will be drawn per USEF rule JP112. Time allowed will be based on a minimum speed of 382 yards per minute (360 yards per minute for pony jumpers). Riders are not required to wear hunt coats except in Special Classes. Riders must wear collared shirts. Management reserves the right to combine or cancel any classes with insufficient entries. $5,000 Allied Shows Jumper Derby #600 1.20m - 1.25m $300 Table II.2.a. Horse must have entered and completed two other jumper classes at the same show. Must have at least 8 entries to run. Fences not to exceed 1.25m in height. Natural obstacles will be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. Ribbons to 8th place, prize money divided as noted in ‘conditions & specifications’ sections. Ribbons & Cooler presented at conclusion of class. Class runs Saturday, not to start before 3pm.

$1,000 Allied Shows Open Welcome Speed Derby #601 1.15m - 1.20m $100 Table III. Open to all riders. Horse must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at this show to be eligible for this class. Horse must have at least 6 entries to run. To be shown over a derby-style course with fences or options no higher than 1.20m. Natural obstacles may be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. Class runs Thursday not to start before 3pm.

$2,000 Allied Shows USHJA National Hunter Derby #602 3’0”, options to 3’5” $150 Open to all horses & riders. The USHJA National Hunter Derby is a two round hunter classic with round 1 being judged on performance, hunter pace and style, quality and substance, movement and brilliance. After each round additional points will be added with one point for each high option fence jumped without major fault (max 4 points). After round 2 a maximum of 10 bonus points may be awarded to each horse/rider combination for handiness of round and brilliance of pace. The score will be announced separately and added to each rider’s score. Fence height 3’ with four option fences set at 3’3” to 3’5”. Must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at this show to be eligible for this class. Must have 10 entries to run. Class runs 8am Sunday morning.

$1,000 Allied Shows Children’s/Adult Jumper Stake #603 1.10m $100 Table II.2.a. Horse must have shown in and completed at least two classes in the same division at the same show to be eligible. No cross entry of riders between into any class exceeds 1.10m in height. (Entry to WIHS Jumper phase is allowed.) Natural obstacles may be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. Class follows 1.10m divisions on Sunday.

$1,000 Allied Shows Jr./Am Hunter Classic #604 3’3” $100 Open to junior and amateur riders. Designated first-round classic. Horses must have entered, shown and completed at least two classes over fences at the same show, one of which must designated first-round class #401, Modified Jr/Am Hunter. No cross entry of rider into any class with fences 3’6” or higher. Class follows 3’3” divisions on Sunday.

$500 Capstone Equestrian Jr/Am Jumper Mini-Derby #605 .85m $75 Table II.2.a. Open to junior and amateur riders. Horse must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at the same show to be eligible. Fences not to exceed .85m. Natural obstacles will be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. No cross entry of riders into any class that exceeds 1.0m in height. Ribbons & Cooler presented at conclusion of class. Class runs Friday after the conclusion of all rings, not to start before 3pm.

Teresa Stanley Spirit Award—Pairs Class #606 2’6” - 2’9” $50 per pair Open to all horses and riders. This memorial class has become a favorite among exhibitors and spectators alike! All profits from this class will go to the Theresa Stanley Scholarship Award, providing financial support to Theresa’s favorites sports. Teams of two jump a minimum of seven jumps in tandem, then jump the final jump (two jumps side by side) at the same time. Class will be judged on manners and way of going with a strong emphasis on timing at the last jump. Each rider enters class #606, $25 entry fee per rider ($50 per pair). Please support this great class! Class runs after conclusion of hunter rings on Friday. See daily schedule for estimated time.

Pony Expresso Lead Line Extravaganza #607 free Sponsored by Pony Expresso. To be held pr ior to the star t of the Allied Shows Jumper Derby. Riders are not eligible to compete in any other class. Bend Premier Horse Show Schooling Day: Schooling in all three show rings is Wednesday, May 13th. All fixed, natural obstacles (grob, table, etc) that may be incorporated into derby classes will be available to school on schooling day only. Rings will be open approximately from 10am to 5pm, with possible short periods of closures for ring maintenance and jump crew. The rings will not be open for schooling or hand-walking at any other time during the show, so please plan appropriately. All horses MUST wear their entry number for schooling.

$10,000 Shevlin Sand & Gravel Jumper Derby #600 1.25m—1.30m $400 Open to all riders. Table II.2.a Horse must have entered and completed two other jumper classes at the same show. Must have at least 10 entries to run. Fences not to exceed 1.30m in height. Natural obstacles will be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day Tuesday, May 19th. Ribbons to 8th place, prize money divided as noted in ‘conditions & specifications’ sections. Ribbons & Cooler presented at conclusion of class. Class runs Saturday, May 23rd, not to start before 4pm.

$2,000 Allied Shows Open Welcome Speed Derby #601 1.20m $150 Table III. Open to all riders. Horse must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at this show to be eligible for this class. Horse must have at least 8 entries to run. To be shown over a derby-style course with fences or options no higher than 1.20m. Natural obstacles may be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. Class runs Thursday, not to start before 3pm.

$5,000 Voltaire Design USHJA National Hunter Derby #602 3’0”, options to 3’5” $300 Open to all riders. The USHJA National Hunter Derby is a two round hunter classic with round 1 being judged on performance, hunter pace and style, quality and substance, movement and brilliance. After each round additional points will be added with one point for each high option fence jumped without major fault (max 4 points). After round 2 a maximum of 10 bonus points may be awarded to each horse/rider combination for handiness of round and brilliance of pace. The score will be announced separately and added to each rider’s score. Fence height 3’ with four option fences set at 3’3” to 3’5”. Must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at this show to be eligible for this class. Must have 10 entries to run. Class runs 8am Sunday morning, May 24th.

$2,000 Allied Shows Children’s/Adult Jumper Stake #603 1.10m $150 Table II.2.a Horse must have shown in and completed at least two classes of the same division at the same show to be eligible. No cross entry of riders into any class that exceeds 1.10m. (Entry to WIHS Jumper phase is allowed.) Natural obstacles may be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. Must have 8 entries to run. Class follows division on Sunday, May 24th.

$1,000 Allied Shows Jr./Am Hunter Classic #604 3’3” $100 Designated first-round classic. Horses must have shown in a minimum of two classes over fences at the same show, one of which must be designated first-round class #401, Modified Jr/Am Hunter. No cross entry of rider into any class with fences 3’6” or higher. Must have 8 entries to run. Class follows division on Sunday, May 24th.

$500 Capstone Equestrian Jr/Am Jumper Mini-Derby #605 .85m $75 Table II.2.a Horse must be entered in a hunter or jumper division at the same show to be eligible. Fences not to exceed .85m. Natural obstacles will be included and will be open for schooling on schooling day. No cross entry of riders into any class that exceeds 1.0m in height. Must have 6 entries to run. Teresa Stanley Spirit Award—Pairs Class #606 2’6” - 2’9” $50 per pair Open to all horses and riders. This memorial class has become a favorite among exhibitors and spectators alike! All profits from this class will go to the Theresa Stanley Scholarship Award, providing financial support to Theresa’s favorites sports. Teams of two jump a minimum of seven jumps in tandem, then jump the final jump (two jumps side by side) at the same time. Class will be judged on manners and way of going with a strong emphasis on timing at the last jump. Each rider enters class #606, $25 entry fee per rider ($50 per pair). Please support this great class! Class runs after conclusion of hunter rings on Friday. See daily schedule for estimated time.
