Peter Sagan is a professional Slovak road cyclist. According to experts, he is the one of the biggest talents in cycling at present. On Tour de France 2014 he became the only competitor which obtained a green shirt in his first three participations. He was awarded Athlete of the year in 2013 and in 2015. He won the world championship in road cycling - race mass start men's Elite category in 2015.

Celeste Buckingham is a Slovak singer. She is an American-Swiss origin. Within three years she lived in Alaska, then her family moved to Slovakia, where she grew up and launched a music career. She is a finalist in the second series Czech Slovak SuperStar. She was a jury member Slovakia-Czech version of The X Factor. In 2013 she was awarded OTO as a singer of the year. She was also nominated for the Radio Disney Music Awards in America.

Jana Kirschner is a Slovak pop singer and finalist of Miss Slovakia in 1996. In 1999 she won the Golden Nightingale in the category Singer of the Year. Success also recorded in the Czech Republic. She tried the solo career also in the UK.

Dominika Cibulkova is a professional Slovak tennis player. During career she won four WTA tournament categories and two categories of ITF tournaments. Her greatest achievement is the final Grand Slam Australian Open, 2014.

Kristina Peláková, better known by his stage name Kristina is a Slovak singer, who represented Slovakia at the Eurovision Song Contest, 2010 with the song "Horehronie"

She was born on August 20, 1987 in Svidník and studied at the Conservatory in Košice.
