‘talk to Me’ revisited

Harry Winston has re-introduced its stylish diamond studded timepiece for women ‘Talk to Me, Harry

Winston’ in two new avatars christened – Talk To Me Snowflake Dial and Talk To Me 5th Dial. The Snowflake Dial has a black mother of pearl dial, encrusted with 111 diamonds, while the 5th Dial has a white mother-of-pearl dial set with just one diamond on its face.

The oval-shaped case is shaped to comfortably fit a woman’s wrist. The case features a novel wheel engraved with “Talk to Me, Harry Winston,” set with diamonds, and the fashionable satin straps in black or white add to the glamour quotient. The collection is available at the Harry Winston boutique in New Delhi.

Making the right Cuts

Multi-brand retailer William Penn -- the world pen store, presents Caran d’ Ache’s latest offering to pen aficionados, the limited

edition Shiva, to honour the Hindu god. The Switzerland-based firm, in collaboration with renowned Swiss jeweller and artist, Edouard Jud, has hand crafted ‘out-of-this-world’ 108 fountain pens and 55 roller pens in silver.

The pieces would be on display during Shivratri (Lord Shiva’s birthday) at select William Penn stores across the country. A unique way to propitiate Lord Shiva, the pen represents the many aspects of Shiva. For instance, its cap is crowned with an intense blue agate that stands for the colour of Shiva’s skin. The body and cap of the writing instrument is engraved with the many symbols associated with Shiva like the trident (accented with a diamond); the lingam, the third eye, the crescent moon; Shiva as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer, among others. The engravings also highlight several representations of his destructive and restorative powers.

The fountain pen can be used with an ink pump or with Caran d’Ache cartridges. The M-width fountain pen nib in rhodium-coated, 18-carat gold, and is also available to order in F or B widths.
