MANAGING EDITOR: 2004-2010 Cosimo Books, New York, NY Cosimo Books is a specialty publisher using digital technologies to publish quality titles in the trade category.

• Prepared manuscripts and reprints for production, and worked with graphic designers on competitive book packaging and all related marketing materials for each Cosimo Books project.

• Supervised team of 12: 2 senior editors, 6 production designers, 2 copywriters, and 2 publishing interns for production & marketing assignments.

• Managed workflow for each team member and provided editorial/production guidance for each. Focused on skill building for interns, including channel management projects related to backlist titles.

• Managed large backlist of over 2,800 titles across 4 imprints; an additional primary responsibility consisted of contributing marketing ideas and developing sales strategies for existing titles, including development of targeted acquisitions list.
