Ervis Gega was born in a well-known Albanian musical family, and received her rst violin lessons from her parents. At the age of eight she gave her rst public performance with the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. At the age of sixteen, Ervis became a master student of the legendary Yfrah Neaman (1990-1993) at the Peter Cornelius School of Music in Mainz; later she joined his Advanced Solo Class at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she studied till 1999. In June 1996 she received the renowned Concert Recital Diploma (Premier Prix) from the Guildhall School. During her participation at the Academy of Chamber Music Villa Musica in Mainz, Germany, her talent and musical maturity were recognized and rewarded: when she was 19 years old, the Villa Musica honoured her with a Guarnerius violin which remained at her disposal throughout her study in London. Ervis Gega has won numerous national and international prizes. She ended rst in the International Yfrah Neaman Violin Competition in Germany. She has also won the Emily English Award, the Ian Fleming Award and the Pecskai Prize in London, and was laureate of the Seventh Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition. Well-known music pedagogues invited Ervis to join their chamber music ensembles and for joined teaching activities, amongst others omas Brandis, Martin Ostertag, and Reiner Kussmaul. In 2006, Ervis Gega became the youngest music professor of the Villa Musica in Mainz. Following Prof. Yfrah Neaman's footsteps, Ervis now teaches her own students at the Peter Cornelius Conservatoire and the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Furthermore she teaches masterclasses for the Rhineland-Palatinate Music Academy, for the Villa Musica and the Rhineland-Palatinate Youth Orchestra. Ervis Gega joined the London Symphony Orchestra from 1996 - 1998. In 2000 she founded the Spohr Duo with Silke Aichohorn (Violin and Harp). e duo was subsequently awarded the 'Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural Forster Award' (Kulturförderpreis des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz). In 2004 she founded the Rheinische Kammerensemble Mainz (former “Young Strings”). eir repertoire includes works from baroque to contemporary music. Currently, Ervis Gega is concertmaster of the Classical Philharmonic Orchestra Bonn (Klassische Philharmonie Bonn). Her solo repertoire includes violin concertos by Bach, Mozart, Paganini, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Saint-Saens, and Kraus, which she performed with various orchestras in Europe (Germany, England, Italy), South-America (Chile) and South- Africa. Her recordings include the „Sinfonia con violino obligato“ by J. M. Kraus (with the Chamber Orchestra Mainz), the rst Spohr Duo CD, the Carmen Fantasy by Waxman, the Paganini Caprices, Mozart Sonates and chamber music by Henze with the Ensemble Villa Musica. Her perfection has received praise on numerous occasions, and she has been described a 'technical genius' and a 'musical volcano' for her lively interpretations. Not only her strong expression but also the 'gracefulness and elegance' of her tone received outstanding critiques. Her play was described as 'a combination of Mediterranean sensuality and natural virtuosity of the highest degree'. e journal 'e Strad' described her as a 'unique talent' with 'an electrifying stage presence’. Ervis Gega featured on German national television programmes like ARD und ZDF with personal portraits and extensive interviews. Her concerts are regularly broadcasted. e Republic of Albania recognized and acknowledged her contributions and proclaimed her honorary citizen of her hometown Fier in 2005.  In 2008 she was proclaimed 'Ambassador of the Nation'. Ervis Gega lives in Bonn with her husband and son. FEE FOR ACTIVE STUDENTS This fee must be paid before the beginning of the lessons. It is to be paid in its entirety and cannot be refunded if the candidate stops attendance on his own initiative.

ATTENDANCE FEE FOR AUDITORS This fee permits auditing of lessons. However, it cannot be refunded in case the student interrupts attendance on his own initiative.

REGULATION Students attending “Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Ervis Gega”, who are divided into Active students and Auditors, are subject to the following regulations:

ACTIVE STUDENTS The application form, with the required documents and the payment of the application fee, must reach the academy before the 1st of July 2017. Photocopies of the following documents are to be forwarded, required only for first-time applicants for the “Talent Music Master Courses in Music Performance”:

• identification card showing the date of birth; • program proposals for recitals.

At the request of the candidate, the photocopies of the forwarded documents will be returned before the end of the course. For the Active Students, Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Ervis Gega” consists of 3 lessons of one hour each from the 17th to the 19h of July 2017.

Active students who – according to the evaluation of the respective instructor and of the Artistic Director of the Talent Music School – excel particularly during the “Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Ervis Gega” will have the possibility of being inserted in the concert seasons “Talent Music Master Concerts”.

AUDITORS No particular qualifications are necessary for registration; only the application form is required, together with payment of the auditor’s fee in euros.

CERTIFICATES AND DIPLOMAS All Active students who have attended lessons regularly will be granted attendance certificates. Diplomas of Merit or Honor may also be granted.
