Tale of Joshua, and the Dark-Angle

He laid there surrounded by darkness, felt like

could see the walls closing in on him as he laid

there motionless. He felt something on his

forehead, this sticky slimy slippery substance.

“What is that?” he asked out loud. “That would

be blood,” Said a voice that seemed to come

from nowhere. A Mysterious, almost seemingly

Dark-Angle stood before him with a glow, a

vibrant glow that seemed to make all fears and

darkness before him shrivels up and vanish

instantly. The fact that this man stood before

him and Joshua had no past memories this

angle made this situation uneasy, and brought

fear to him. The Dark-Angle kneeled down to

the man who was lying in the alley, and

whispered, “He has plans for you Joshua.”

Joshua couldn’t help but to lay there in fear, he

couldn’t help but to feel as if from this point on,

his life was no longer in his own control. His

gentle-loving wife, and his sea-blue eyed son.

Alexander said “I know you’re thinking of your

family, but I just thought that you should know,

you left them a long time ago, but you won’t

remember right now.”

Alexander helped Joshua up. This Bright-eyed

man stood up, but suddenly he had gotten a

flash of his memory. “Josh! Don’t go inside! The

fire is too much! You will die!” Joshua ran inside

the burning building following the sounds of

screams. "Hello!?" he shouted "Hello!?" he

yelled. There was no answer the smoke started

to choke and suffocate him as if it were hands

around his neck violently attempting to take his

life. His eyes burned as tears started to fall

rapidly from his eyes. He didn’t know the

woman had busted through the back window.

By the time he realized he was lost in the

burning house it was too late, his vision was off.

He was burning up inside and out, and the dark-

handed smoke accomplished its goal. Joshua,

now a lifeless, lonely, man lacking animation

laid there, until one of the men came, picked

him up and carried him out of the old burning

home, Joshua was dead."

"Joshua!" yelled Alexander. "Have you hear a

word I’ve said?" as Joshua’s mind had gotten

back to the present, he couldn't help but to

start coughing with nothing but the smell and

taste of smoke in his mouth. He felt as if he

could still feel the dark-handed smoke around

his neck.

He ask Alexander "Is that how i died?" gasping

and coughing as if he was about to relive the

whole experience once more. “Yes, but you

died with good intentions, you died trying to

save a woman’s life, you put her life before your

own."

By the time all of this had went on, they had

gotten in a car and had driven almost twelve

whole hours. They were on a long wavy road,

surrounded by trees and darkness. As Joshua

staffed out the window curious about his death

he found himself drifting off again. Beep, beep,

beep, that’s the sound he heard, he knew he

was in the hospital. As he opened his eyes he

had to..." BAM, something had landed on the

hood of the car, Joshua opened his eyes to

immediately find a black demon looking with

red eyes and huge hands that grasped the side

and claws strong and big enough to penetrate

the side of the car like it was nothing. He looked

into the car with glowing red eyes and long

black curly horns on both sides of his head and

smiled, then flew off almost lifting the car and

the two men off the ground. "We must hurry

and get to Sean!" shouted Alexander in panic.

Joshua, horrified, afraid, and concerned passed

out only to find himself back where he left off.

Joshua opened his eyes to find a rather skinny

looking woman and a child sitting down about

the age of ten looking at him with tears in their

eyes. Roxy, Joshua's wife went him crying and

saying "trying to be a hero again? Being a hero

is what got you where you are now." she said

with tears in her eyes as she held him tight. The

child David sat there looked only concerned and

upset; he was old enough to know and

understand the Situation and wasn’t to please

to know that his father would have done

something like that. "I was only trying to save

someone, save their life." "But what about your

life, your family’s life, was it worth killing

yourself over?" said Roxy. Even after all this was

said, he still couldn’t help but notice how

beautiful she was, thinking "she cares so much,

and my son hates me, "You are right" he said. "I

know Joshua, just please promise, you’ll stop

trying to be the hero." Joshua woke up thinking,

"how could this god of mine be so selfish, so

horrible to tear me from them? Ids never leave,

never abandon them, what could they possibly

think of me? I never want them to hate Me."

thought Joshua. Joshua simply blames god and

his selfishness his family was his word. So many

things were starting to come back to him. So

many memories and so many good yet bad

ones. Yet, he couldn’t remember speaking to his

god, but he still blamed him.

In the woods surrounded by trees and darkness

Alexander and Joshua could hear the slightest

sound, and even though it was dark they could

see the long cloud like breath of the monster

they would battle. Alexander said "this is what

we are here for; this is what we have been

looking and fighting for, this very moment this

moment to defeat this demon and keep this

world safe. We are here for the human race,

gods most loved creatures. I’m an angle, you’re

a wise man, and he’s a demand. A demand we

will. Conquer and send back to hell where he

belongs." Joshua was no longer in fear l,

confused nor blame god because he knew what

he was fighting for, this demand was here trying

to open the gates of hell and allow the demands

to roam free and destroy earth. For once in his

life, he felt like he had more of a reason to

breath, fight. And they did they fought and

fought, and in the end be had a broken arm,

and alexander had died for him. The demon laid

on the ground, panting, with red rivers of blood

flowing from his body, as Joshua looked him in

the eyes and used the same ax the demon used

to kill alexander, he chopped off his head with

one swing, the continued out of frustration. The

dark-beast was no longer living, breathing, or a

threat to society, as its eyes no longer a ray of

red light; as God looked down there was no

longer darkness in the sky. There was no longer

a dark feeling of misery and uncertainty. There

was only a feeling of greatness, for he had

concurred the demon that would have lead

them all to enslavement and a hell on either.
