Planning & Implementation of preventive maintenance schedule, ,daily condition monitoring of plants critical equipments to minimize the breakdowns and forced shutdowns.

Routine Preventive maintenance/Breakdown maintenance/ ISO documentation , MIS, G form of generator etc. assist to make departmental budget , Monthly reports, health card , daily condition Monitoring of plants critical equipments to achieve zero failure of plant equipment, & expedite monthly performance against the targeted performance control parameters & SOP (standard operating procedure)

Analysis of breakdowns data like power generation, diesel consumption & power factor & Analyzing the data of breakdown with maintenance planning to reduce the repetitive and long time delays either by suitable modification or by better maintenance practice.

Coordinating all projects related activities like design, Procurement, Engineering, and erection and commissioning of electro-mechanical work like Pump, Motor, valves, piping-Anti surge System and HT and LT Panels, cables, transformer and cables etc.

Involved in departmental manpower planning, supervision ,technical up gradation & co-ordination of Maintenance activity responsible for Preventive & trouble shooting maintenance

Costing, Material management, Preventive   Maintenance Planning ,Budget against actual cost/Inventory management Focusing on inventory control and ensuring that the right spare is available & Reduction in maintenance cost.

Maintaining adequate communication with Client/ consultant, and Ensure that running account bills are raised in time, certified and payment collected in time executed as per the technical specifications and the approved drawings.

Preparation of Electrical Single line diagram., Preparation of CT, PT ratings, cable sizing, earth mat design, knowledge of Generator, Transformers, Battery Charger Panels, Control & Switchgear Panels, SCADA system and Switchyard Equipment.

Familiar with Utilities equipments like reciprocating & screw compressor, chillers upto 100 TR ,FBC Boiler, , water treatment plant , STP (Savage treatment plant ),RO plant , VFD, DG set KCL 1250 KVA , ,500 KVA ,750 KVA ,Cooling tower, centrifugal & liquid ring vacuum pumps .

Responsible to organize installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems including distribution of power in the factory.

Ability to plan and review electrical engineering activities, People development skills & Assessing the technical training needs and arrange to train them.

Reporting on the progress of above activities to the functional HOD.

Designing preparation of lighting system, PCC , PDB cable laying,Earthing system, Electrical load calculations

Installation of 750KVA, 500KVA DG Set , Siemens and L& T make Air circuit breaker.

Position: Sr. Engineer -Maintenance Since Mar06 to Aug 08 The Accountabilities:

Familiar with Generator manufacturing plant and machine used like impregnation plant ,chiller ,Oven ,powder coating machine ,elevator ,EOT crane hydraulic and pneumatic tools

Overseeing the maintenance function, tracking daily breakdowns in equipments like VSD(Inverter and converter), soft starter, Kirloskar DG set & Its AMF Panel up to 1250KVA, ACBs, VCBs ,HT (33kv) & LT protection relays, Distribution Transformer, PCCs, MCCs, Switch yard accessories ,EOT crane & electrification of plant and domestic wiring. Also familiar with Transducers thermocouple, PID temp.

Periodical Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Sub Station of 33/11 KV , Transformers, DG sets & UPS.

Making indents and move orders for spare parts according to the m/c requirements

Executed Modification In design on equipment like vacuum pumps .existing individually operated Pumps replaced with centralized vacuum system to avoid rejection of shell.

For continuous measurement or close watch on temp of shell .all the data brought to control room using RS 485 communication system is installed for analysis.

Existing material flushing system of resin machine converted into air flushing .so the wastage due to material flushing avoided upto 8 ltr per day.

Preparation, updating & reviewing ISO9001:2000 documents.

Preparation of Generator, Transformer, Control & Protection Panel, Switchyard equipment specifications

Successful in improving power factor from 0.98 to 1.00 by installing APFC panel with necessary modification and getting 7.5% incentives in energy bill from electricity board.

Independently handled responsibilities related to breakdown maintenance Of various machines like KCL 1250KVA DG set, DC drives used in Extruders Kolsite ,AC drives used in compressor ,FBD Dryer for bower application & Agitators .

Modified existing star delta starter of ID & FD fans of Dryer into Schneider make soft starter to prevent jerking , mechanical wear & tear & getting energy saving using flow control .

Successfully, installed MD controller o prevent shoot up in CMD due to starting of heavy equipments.

Installed saturable core reactors for plant and office lighting, resulting in 20% saving in plant electricity bill & increase life of the lamps.

Installed 40 nos energy meters for on line monitoring at different energy cost centers & data compared with specific energy consumption .Accordingly, suggestion given to user dept to reduce power consumption.

Integral to major Energy conservation Activity by providing Schneider make soft starter on 45 KW motor for powder conveying blower in Dryer to avoid high at current starting, Mechanical wear & tear of belt & bearing hence further reduced maintenance cost & heavy production loss.

Designed new AMF panel using VSR & relay logic for our residential complex DG set.
