The core business of the Assurance department is the auditing of annual financial statements and international group accounts in compliance with the Swiss Code of Obligations, IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER or US GAAP. We offer a variety of other audit-related services, such as plausibility assessments of financially weighted data such as interim financial

statements and business plans. We also assess the effectiveness of internal control systems and the implementation of IFRS standards. We work in multi-disciplinary teams, drawing on global methodologies and using the latest information combined with state-of-the-art auditing tools.

Reviewing your applicationAfter your documents have been checked by our colleagues in Human Resources, they are being assessed with the relevant job-profile requirements of the specific service line.

The personal touchAt Ernst & Young, you can look forward to a personal selection process. Interviews with applicants are normally carried out by personnel from the office you’re applying to, accompanied by colleagues from Human Resources. Because we want to get to know you as an individual, we feel that as well as finding out more about your professional qualifications, it is especially important to hear about your personal strengths and qualities. To do this, we make time for one or two personal interviews. In some cases they are preceded by a telephone interview.
